The Wedding of Emma & Luke
A couple of weeks ago I photographed the wedding of Emma & Luke at Ridings Barn Theobalds Park on its’ huge estate in Cheshunt (https://www.birchcommunity.com/). Although it was November, we had a fairly mild day with some beautiful sunshine. On arrival, I joined the bridal party to capture the preparations.
I made sure to capture the preparations of both the bride and all of her bridesmaids.
The bride had prepared special surprise gifts in the form of jewellery and gowns for all of her bridal party.

As well as taking the bride’s shoes outside for some shots, I also got the stepladder out of the car to grab a shot of all the bridesmaids’ shoes too.
The wedding rings looked stunning in the soft natural light.
Not forgetting any excuse for a selfie – the bride with yours truly 🙂
A few doors away, the groom and best man were also getting ready. I timed my arrival for their final wedding preparations.
It was then time for the ceremony.
After the ceremony, it was time for the drinks reception. I took the opportunity to grab a few shots of the guests before taking the newly married couple around the grounds for their portrait shots followed by the family and group shots.

It was then time for the Wedding Breakfast followed by the speeches and a fun game of Mr & Mrs.
After a quick turnaround of the room, it was time for the cake cutting, first dance and for the partying to begin!
