On a surprisingly hot and sunny day in March, I photographed the wedding of Dave & Carol at the stunning Milling Barn Venue. As standard, where allowed, I now include drone photography.
On arrival, I took some photos of the grounds and then proceeded to the Dressing Room to meet up with the Bridal party.
Their wedding guests had begun to arrive, so we stepped out to grab natural photos of the guests’ interactions, and pictures of the Barn before the guests were called to the ceremony.
The Barn looked stunning, with the simplicity of the decorations having a really stunning effect.
The guests took their seats, and it was time for the ceremony to begin.
The guests enjoyed the drinks reception whilst I grabbed some natural and posed photos.
I then took the couple around the grounds of Milling Barn for their wedding portrait shots. All of the photos are completely unposed, with only some small guidance from me if something looked awkward or out of place.
I sent the drone up again for the big group shot, followed by some smaller family group photos. Afterwards, it was time for the wedding breakfast. The bride and groom decided to hold their speeches first, which many couples now prefer (so they can get the speeches out of the way and be able to relax for the rest of the day!).
As the sun was setting, I took the couple outside for a quick sunset shot, followed by the cutting of the wedding cake and their first dance.
The Milling Barn venue is a fantastic location to hold your wedding! I look forward to returning next month!
