Pre-Wedding Shoot with Lindsey & Lee
At the beginning of October, I was out with Lindsey & Lee at Milling Barn for their pre-wedding shoot. This is a photoshoot that usually takes place three to six months prior to the wedding day.
It’s a great way to get familiar with being in front of the camera. The results being that you will feel far more relaxed being photographed on your wedding day.
We began the afternoon on the grounds opposite the Milling Barn wedding venue. It was beautiful to see how much they were in love with each other and to talk about their plans.
The road on the approach to Milling Barn is always a lovely shot to get due to the perspective the view offers.
Milling Barn offers a number of areas of contrasting colours, which allow your couple portraits to really stand out.
I like to use a mix of black and white images when I deliver my photos. B&W pictures often convey the greater emotion or importance of a situation.
Sometimes your photographer will use it if the room is a bit messy too 😉
Heading further into Blunts Wood is an outside clearing in the woods where you can hold your wedding ceremony. It’s a lovely tranquil area where I’ve photographed several times.
