Joint 18th & 21st Birthday Party
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Andrew and Rebecca’s joint birthday party in St. Albans. It was held at their parents’ house in a marquee in the garden and looked stunning.
It was a black-tie event and a sit-down meal with their close family and friends. The inside of the marquee looked amazing. The grandmother’s of the family were involved in preparing the food.
Whilst I loved the soft light, the room was fairly dark. I used a video light to get focus on the guests before using a speedlight to take a shot.
The tree behind the guests was actually part of the garden. They’d placed fairy lights on it which made it look truly magical.
After dinner, the DJ got the party going. The brother and sister had also booked a Saxophonist who was fab! I could see that the guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves.
The dancing continued late into the night. Andrew and Rebecca had a great party and loved the photos provided. So much so, they invited me to photograph the wedding anniversary of their parents.
