Back in July of last year, I shot the smaller wedding of James & Reechie who married at the Cheshunt Register office and held their reception at Hanbury Manor. Restrictions were still in place, but the couple still managed to celebrate with the majority of their closest family and friends.
I arrived at Hanbury Manor to capture the bridal preparations.

The groom was also getting ready at Hanbury Manor, so I ran across to the other side of the building to capture some of the preparation shots there too.

The wedding ceremony was being held at the Cheshunt Registry Office, so I jumped in the car and we headed over.

Masks were still mandatory, but they had a lovely ceremony.

After the ceremony, I grabbed a few portraits with the bride and groom before heading back to Hanbury Manor where additional guests were waiting.

The couple had an old-fashioned typewriter that guests could use to leave the bride and groom a note.

Their guests were enjoying the drinks reception, so with the aid of the coordinator and their golf buggy, we zipped around the area to grab some more portrait photos of the couple.

We grabbed a few family photos and then the guests headed inside for the wedding breakfast.

Guest dancing was not allowed at this time, but the bride and groom still managed to perform a beautiful first dance together.

If you’re looking for someone to photograph your wedding, who is completely down to earth, and who will ensure you have quality time spent with your guests on your wedding day, then why not give me a shout?
