The Wedding of Victoria & Matthew
A few weeks back I was at Grims Dyke Hotel (http://grimsdyke.com/planning-your-wedding/) in Harrow to photograph the wedding of Victoria & Matthew. The weather was predicted to be ‘changeable’, but the venue had many different areas for inside photos if needed.
Bridal Preparations
The bridal party were getting ready at the venue. So I spent the morning capturing their preparations.

I enjoying using mirrors where possible to grab photos from different angles.

I took the bride’s shoes and wedding bouquet around the venue to get some photos in the natural light.

Returning to the bridal suite, I arranged the dresses to get photos of them altogether.

The sister of the bride looked absolutely stunning in her bridesmaid dress.

The groom and his best men were due to arrive, so I went off to find them and grab a couple of shots together before returning to the bride.

I managed to get a close-up shot of the wedding rings on the grooms’ hand.

The final dress preparations were complete and it was time for Nan to have the first look at the bride.

Whilst everyone was present in the bridal suite, we took the opportunity to get a quick group photo.

The Wedding Ceremony
It was then time for the ceremony to begin!

After the ceremony, we headed outside to get the group and portrait shots in between the inclement weather.

I enjoy this part of the day as it allows me to take natural photos using a telescopic lens so that the guests aren’t aware that I am there.

The Wedding Portraits

After the group shots, we headed inside for the Wedding breakfast followed by the speeches.

Afterwards followed the speeches.

After the speeches, the guests left to allow the room to be prepared for the evening.
