The Wedding of Katie & Chris
De Vere Theobalds Estate Wedding Photography: A few weeks ago I photographed Chris and Katie’s wedding which took place at Theobalds Estate in Cheshunt. I arrived at the venue on the morning of the wedding on possibly the hottest day of the year so far! The bride, family and bridesmaids were all getting ready in the bridal suite.
I spent a short time wandering around the gardens and then went up to meet the bride where preparations were in full swing.

I then went off to find the groom, his best men and groomsmen so that I could get shots of the rings and of them altogether.
It was then time for the ceremony to begin.
After the ceremony, we had a drinks reception. Whilst all the guests were together, we went straight into the group photos.
I then took the bride and groom around the grounds for their wedding portraits.

The guests were then called for the wedding breakfast.
After the wedding breakfast was finished, there was a game of “Mr & Mrs”. I then took the opportunity to have a bit of fun with the Groom and his Groomsmen.
As we now had some softer light, I took the bride and groom out for some lovely evening shots.

We returned back to the mansion to meet up with the evening guests. This was followed by the cake cutting and first dance.
