Grims Dyke Hotel has its roots firmly in Roman History. It was originally a huge defensive earthwork which, over three miles long, formed the boundary of Catuvellauni territory, a tribe that fought the Romans.
Today it’s a beautiful Grade II listed hotel set amongst 40 acres of gardens and woodlands.
I photographed the wedding of Vic & Matt back in 2018. I arrived early as I hadn’t been to this venue before. The first thing I noticed was the number of different areas that I could use for stunning photos.
Grims Dyke Hotel has 2 main rooms for hire. The Music Room for up to 88 guests, and the Drawing Room, for up to 40 guests.
