Aldwickbury Golf Club Wedding Photography
Aldwickbury Park Golf Club can be found on the outskirts of Harpenden in Hertfordshire. The venue can accommodate from 60 up to 200 guests for your wedding.
I believe that the Fenwick-Ames Suite is perfect for your seated wedding breakfast. It has it’s own private terrace overlooking the lakes and the eighteenth green. Inside, it’s windows allow for a feeling of spaciousness and airiness to the venue.
If you’re having a smaller wedding, the suite has a partition wall which makes it ideal for more intimate celebrations.
My research of the venue shows that the Fenwick-Ames Suite was named after two historical characters. Charles Richard Fenwick who was a magistrate for the County of Herts. He built a 25 bedroom house named “High Firs” which is today known as Aldwickbury School. This can be found next door to Aldwickbury Park Golf Club.
Lionel Ames had great influence within the Great Northern Railway Company. He took control of the Dunstable, Luton and Welwyn Junction Railway, which used to run alongside the Golf Club’s 5th fairway.
I photographed a wedding here in January and loved the numerous areas available for stunning wedding portraits. Check out the blog that can be found here of Tori & Bradleys wedding reception. This should give you an idea of the versatility of this location for great photographic moments. If you’d like to see the entire gallery, then please send me a message.
