The Wedding of Kevin & Mădălina
A few weeks back I photographed the wedding of Kevin & Mădălina at Bury Lodge (https://www.burylodge.com/) at Stansted, Essex.
Bury Lodge Wedding Venue
​I love Bury Lodge Weddings. It’s a lovely family-run hotel in Stansted with a gorgeous rustic barn, exposed beams and aged wooden floors. In addition, it also features a tranquil pond which is encircled by a thick tree line. I knew we had to use for the portrait and group shots.
I arrived early so I could meet up with the bride and her bridesmaids.
In between the preparations, I took the opportunity to get photos of the rings, bouquet and the dresses.

A short while later, the bridesmaids arrived as did the groom, so I grabbed a few shots before heading off to meet up with him and to get some shots of the inside of the venue before the guests arrived.
I returned to the bride to capture the final stages of getting ready.
It was time for the ceremony to begin so I headed back over to the groom to await the arrival of the bridal party,
After the ceremony, we headed outside for the confetti followed by the group shots. As the weather was looking like it would rain, we decided to immediately go around the grounds so we could get the portrait shots of the happy couple.

It was then time for food, therefore the guests were called to take their seats. Following the meal, it was time for the speeches.

After the speeches, there was a game of Mr & Mrs.
After a short break, the room was cleared and setup for the evening party with the cake cutting and the first dance.
